Happy Friday to you. This week has flown by to me, and I am definately looking forward to the weekend. No big plans, but it is always a culture shock going back to work after a vacation.
My parent's anniversary is coming up, so I decided to make a card for them. I combined Dawn McVey's color inspiration with the Mojo Monday sketch.
Here is the color inspiration from Dawn McVey. I didn't have the aqua mist, so I used Stampin Up's retired soft sky. I like these colors together. I'm a sucker for that chocolate color.
Here is the sketch that I based my card off of. Like I said earlier, it is much more involved than my normal style, but it's fun to leave my comfort zone sometimes.
It was much more involved than I normally do, but I love the Damask Designs set from Papertrey. Well, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. It is supposed to be cold and foggy here, so I am hoping to get a little crafty this weekend.
Card Details:
Stamps: Damask Designs
Ink: soft sky, chocolate chip
Paper: vanilla, lemon tart, chocolate chip, soft sky
